What a Blessing

Becka & I had a photoshoot adventure last Saturday and got some really great pictures.  I wore an embellished denim skirt that I bought from Apostolic Clothing.  I thought the pictures turned out pretty great so I sent one to them.  To my surprise, they liked it and wanted to use it on their next promotion.  I was on cloud 9 when they told me that.  Just a few days later, it was on their homepage in their new layout.  Wow!!!  That's me on the Unique Section.  I was so excited that I took a screenshot so I will have this as a memory when their layout changes.

This is pretty big to me especially since I have been making a huge effort to dress more modest.  I wear skirts all the of the time now.  I have stopped wearing makeup and am loving it.  My skin thanks me!  I have been letting my hair grow.  You may have guessed it - I have been going to a Pentecostal church. :) Not just any Pentecostal - Apostolic Pentecostal.  I love this church! I love all of the people. I started going last November, and my change has been slow but steady.  I was a girl who always wanted to be made up when cameras were out, this was my first time to go natural for the camera.  I'm not looking back.  I was totally honored that my favorite clothing site put me on their homepage.  It just goes to show that you don't need makeup to feel beautiful.
